- Your best work, as you will likely incorporate your own assessments, study guides, presentation materials, writing and other materials into your OER courses.

Lumen OER Courses for
What are Lumen OER Courses?
Lumen Learning uses open educational resources (OER) to create well-designed, highly-effective digital course materials for general education and high-enrollment college courses. For a low-cost support fee, complete OER course materials with LMS integration, automatic grade return, content customization, personalized learning tools, technical and faculty support are provided. Free, unsupported versions of Lumen’s OER courses are available through their website.
During the 2016-2017 academic year, 125,000 students at over 150 colleges and universities used Lumen-supported OER course materials, saving an estimated $11.9 million on textbook costs.
Types of Lumen OER Courses
Lumen offers three different types of course packages, Waymaker, OHM, and Candela.

Lumen OHM Math for Liberal Arts
Lumen’s Math for Liberal Arts is designed to provide students with the mathematical skills necessary to fulfill a liberal arts degree. OER content combines curated text, videos, practice problems, and other learning activities, including real-world examples to provide context for how mathematical concepts apply in everyday life.
